Academic Scholarships
Strategies for Success Scholarship
Also funded through She Has a Name, this scholarship is education-specific. Their goal of empowerment through education helps fund tuition, books, and other class materials. A GED or high school diploma is required for this scholarship.
The Beauty for Ashes scholarship, sponsored by Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, offers full tuition support to human trafficking survivors with a focus on those seeking a Christian undergraduate education. Additionally, applicants must have completed 36 transferable units from another accredited institution before applying.
Composed of first responders, governmental agencies, nonprofits, and ministries, The C7 Human Trafficking Coalition in North Texas works to combat human trafficking through recognition, education, and services. Their Gateway Scholarship Committee provides $1,000 scholarships to survivors who hold a GED or high school diploma and are wanting to pursue higher education.
The Juniper Scholarship, a joint initiative between the Malouf Foundation and Southern Utah University (SUU), is tailored for survivors of sexual exploitation. It covers 100% of tuition costs for SUU's Speedway Program, a four-year online degree program with flexible scheduling, allowing survivors to balance education with other life priorities.
The Hands of Justice Scholarship is available exclusively to Texas residents who are survivors of human trafficking. Eligible applicants must provide proof of acceptance/enrollment in college. Recipients have the opportunity to reapply for additional assistance each semester if needed.
A $5,000 scholarship that is open to high school seniors with selection based on essays detailing the applicant’s life story, intended field of study, career goals, and potential impact on the world.

Legal Resources
GLS provides free legal services to low-income Georgians and has experience working on legal issues for surviviors like getting convictions vacated.
Additional Resources
Funding a vailable to survivors of human trafficking to help close the gap survivors recieve from traditional resources. This funding is only available to U.S. based survivors.
EHN focuses on assisting female survivors of human trafficking in achieving long-term success by providing personalized support for permanent housing, career development, and financial independence. The goal of this is to remove social and legal barriers for trafficking survivors.
National Human Trafficking Sheltered Alliance
The NTSA was created as a collaborative effort among service providers dedicated to ensuring survivors of trafficking receive high-quality care and support. It originated from a gathering of 22 agencies in 2016 and has expanded since then.
The project offers legal representation to survivors of human trafficking seeking criminal record relief and aims to establish sustainable post-conviction representation practices nationally. It also provides training and technical assistance on various criminal record remedies to legal professionals who are involved in trafficking survivor support.
